English for Vocational Teachers

This course is for teachers and teacher trainers who are working in the tertiary sector with adults. It is also aimed at teachers and teacher trainers who are working in vocational or technical secondary education.
The course consists of 4 weeks pre-course eLearning which focuses on methodology and language development and 2 weeks of training at Anglolang which involves experiencing a range of classroom techniques, visiting a local college (term time only) and dissemination activities.
This course will also allow participants to gain confidence in using English and to network with vocational teachers from other European countries
This course is listed in the Comenius - Grundtvig Training Database (Reference number: UK-2008-678-007). Funding is therefore available for eligible EU participants. Successful funding applications will cover course fees, homestay accommodation, travel and expenses. Applications for funding for this course are invited through your through your National Agency.

Each participant on this course has a personal tutor who provides individual feedback on eLearning exercises.
