region with something for everyone to enjoy.
It has historic castles and cathedrals;
fashionable cities with modern shopping
centres; small picturesque villages and
traditional seaside towns.
Because the region has some of England's
most stunning scenery, it has increasingly
become a location for TV and films. Scenes
from "Harry Potter" were, for example,
filmed on the North York Moors.
