INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING SYSTEM
IELTS is an internationally recognised English language proficiency exam used to test academic and general English. Available in two forms (Academic and General Training), IELTS band scores show your proficiency in reading, listening writing, and speaking. Candidates also receive an overall band score. It is widely accepted by colleges and universities around the world as an indication of language proficiency for anyone wishing to follow an academic course where English is the language of instruction and is also required by certain medical and immigration boards.
FIRST CERTIFICATE IN ENGLISH
Probably the best known and the most widely taken EFL examination, the FCE provides study of the skills of Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing at an upper intermediate level to improve appropriacy, accuracy and fluency.
CERTIFICATE OF ADVANCED ENGLISH
The CAE is designed to help those participants wishing to obtain a qualification to help in their career or academic studies, or just for personal pleasure.
CERTIFICATE OF PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH
The CPE is the most prestigious of the Cambridge Examinations and sets a very high standard of English. It is internationally recognised as a passport to an English-speaking university or to career advancement. The participants will work towards near native-speaker competence and be proficient in a wide range of English language skills.
BUSINESS ENGLISH CERTIFICATES 1, 2 AND 3
The BEC certificates are English language courses specifically for business people. They are designed for learners who wish to learn how to use international business English through authentic materials in relevant situations.
CERTIFICATES IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE SKILLS
The CELS courses enable participants to obtain a certificate in each of the language skills of Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, at a level best suited to their needs (Preliminary, Intermediate and Higher). Exams for CELS will be available from June 2002.

The PET is ideal for pre-intermediate and intermediate level learners who wish to obtain a qualification which demonstrates their competence in the language skills needed to survive in social and work situations in an English-speaking environment
TEST OF ENGLISH FOR INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION (TOEIC)
TOEIC is an English language proficiency test, which measures the everyday English skills of people working in an international environment. A TOEIC score indicates how well you can communicate in English with others in business, commerce and industry. Anglolang is the only TOEIC centre in the north of England
TEST OF ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (TOEFL)
TOEFL is designed to evaluate the English proficiency of people whose native language is not English. TOEFL scores are widely accepted by colleges and universities around the world as an indication of language proficiency for anyone wishing to follow an academic course where English is the language of instruction. Anglolang can prepare you for both the paper and computer-based tests, including the TWE, the Test of Written English and the TSE, the Test of Spoken English
GRADUATE MANAGEMENT ADMISSION TEST (GMAT)
GMAT is used by many graduate schools of business and management as one criterion in considering applications for admissions to graduate programs, particularly MBAs (Masters of Business Administration). GMAT includes quantitative, verbal and analytical writing sections, for which preparation is available at Anglolang from our management and business specialists.
