Principal
Gustav established Anglolang in 1985. He has a background in teaching and business and takes great pride in working with his team at Anglolang to provide the highest quality service possible. Gustav is a fluent Swedish speaker.
Tony Lucas
Teacher and Teacher Training
In addition to teaching a broad range of classes, Tony also enjoys teaching Technical and Vocational English plus English for Military Purposes. Tony is involved in Cert TESOL teacher training as a Teaching Practice Tutor. He spent many years as a Communications Systems Analyst in the Royal Air Force and has spent a considerable amount of time working overseas. Tony is fluent in Spanish and speaks some Russian
Dan Methven
Director of Studies
Dan began teaching in 1995 and since then he has had the opportunity to work in Greece, Poland, Vietnam, China and, most recently, Thailand. Dan completed his Diploma in 2003 and now, he particularly enjoys training on the Socrates funded courses (Grundtvig and Comenius)here at Anglolang. In his free time he is a keen Thai speaker and retains close links with his friends in Bangkok.
David Turnbull
Teacher
David joined Anglolang following a successful career as an IT and Business consultant in both the public and private sectors. He teaches at all levels and is heavily involved in the administration of the school's elearning system and website.
Sarah Wall
Business Development Manager
Teacher and Access Coordinator
Sarah represents the school at many international marketing events and she has taught at several English schools in the UK and overseas. She specialises in Business and Academic English and in her last job taught international students at a UK university. Sarah is interested in meeting people from other cultures and she enjoys training on the Developing Intercultural Competence course.
Pat Warwick
Teacher
Pat has over 20 years' experience of teaching English in the UK and abroad. She is a fluent German speaker after spending 16 years living and teaching in Germany and also spent many years studying French.
At Anglolang, Pat enjoys teaching Business and Academic English courses including the International Teachers' courses and the Effective Communications courses.
Pat is responsible for teaching resources and materials and has developed a number of Interactive Whiteboard programmes.
Debra Wilde
Director of Welfare/Administration
Debra is in charge of host-family and accommodation arrangements for Anglolang and personally ensures the highest possible standards of care for our students. She is fluent in Swedish.
